tw or ect sensor location 93 coupe
I've got a 93 coupe that I bought cheap cause it had old gas run through it but before that it was in great shape. I replaced the gas, filter, vacuum adv., iac valve, main relay, injectors, water pump, timing belt, and the ecu. Now it will start and run for about 20-30 seconds and from what i understand it's probably the coolant temp (or tw) sensor, but since it's a new ecu I've got no codes. Can anyone help or tell me where exactly the sensor is?

It's the 2-wire sensor under the distributor and forward of the 1-wire ECT sending unit. A bad ECT sensor is unlikely to prevent the engine from running. Have you pulled the CEL codes? Is the mechanical timing dead on?

yeah ive ran a lot of my motors without the ect hooked up. runs fine just no temperature readings. does it start up smooth or a little rough?
