turning car on
ok so my car turns on without me touching the clutch... basically the car turns on just like an automatic why is this??? i mean it doesnt bother me at all im just curious and the car is a 00 civic lx and the car has remote start if that makes a difference

whoever owned the car before had remote start and the signal was tapped so you can start it without hitting the clutch

yeah that must have been it
they put a remote bypass on it for the remote starter
if you know how to, look and see if you can find out how to disconnect it
if not, take it to a place that installs them and see if they can look for you and possibly remove it
but before doing that, i would contact the person who had it before you if possible and ask them if they had one on it

well yea the car currently has a remote start and no i dont want to remove it tho i was just curious
