Turbotime gets his TURBOtime
Finally after 3yrs under the name of "turbotime" i actually got the **** to back my name up.
After a long time (2yrs) and a lot of $$ (who knows) my project civic is coming close to an ending. Heres the scoop:
Patient: 93 Civic Ex
Engine: B17A1 (93 GSR)
Crowler Rods
Arias Pistons
PYR Racing Head
Chevy BB Springs
Ti Retainers
Sealed and o-ringed for turbo (8.5:1 CR)
Fluidyne Radiator
Drivetrain: 98 GSR Hydro Tranny
Quaife LSD (need to buy)
eClutchmasters stage 3 spring clutch
Lightweight Flywheel (need to buy)
Engine management: Uberdata (need to buy)
---------------------------------------------------------
The turbokit finally came today, big thanks to IMPOUND for hooking it up! Hope to make 450+whp at close to 30 (maybe only 28)psi.

thanks guys, yeah the turbo is a lil small, but ima start with it and go from there, i can always get a bigger turbo, big thing is that i got the kit .
The block isnt sleeved, but apparently the bseries sleeves can take quite a beating, and in most cases, dont NEED to be sleeved.
I got two axles, I think I just have a spare Intermediate Shaft...? One of the axles didnt fit all the way into the IS, that must be the one not meant to be with the IS...
Yeah ima sell the D16 when it comes out, has a lot of miles, but still wayyy strong (ppl are impressed how it runs for the mileage). Ill prolly just try and move it for $400, tranny, axles, mounts, n all (no ecu)

This is true, but i dont' think the motor will handle 28-30 psi for a long time like you said. Obvisiouly, you are not running at high boost all the time so you might be okay. Good luck with the build. My brother and I are building our motor for boost....we are hoping to be in the 400 hp club too . Good luck with the build.

thanks for all the feedback,
yeah 30psi will be MAX when racing, hopefully i can get 400whp at only 15psi (since this thing is perfect for boost).
You kno the painful part is i got all this **** in my basement and i wont be able to use it till summer
I got beat by a cavalier yesterday.... with this stuff in my basement, imagine how i felt
