Yea I'm using the Edelbrock kit, I'm a little worried about the compression. I guess only time will tell. Do you have any quater mile times?

You said converted to OBD2, what are your plans for tuning with the turbo set up? just curious because OBD1 is usually easier.

Re: Turbo'd Mini Me... another one. (Mr. Thunderlips)
Well the engine made it to the car, it starts and runs... having an issue with the water pump pipe gasket (not sure if thats the right name or not). We had to swap the pipe because the D15 one wouldn't fit. I picked up some o-rings hopefully will replace that so I can let the engine run a while. WAIT, that stupid Edelbrock kit FU*KED me, apparently theres a voltage clamp I needed that I wasn't told about at time of purchase, so I had to fork over another 65 bones to get that. I guess it tricks the MAP sensor into thinking theres no boost. Can't wait to put it on the street, pics soon.

Oh yea the kit came with a "pre-tune box" that I'm going to run untill I can find someone who can do a decent street tune around here. I had to basically add two sensors to the block: knock sensor, crack position sensor. I was able to rev up to 7 grand no new problems yet.

Props for saving yet ANOTHER SOHC. I want to turbo mine eventually but it would be a remotely mounted turbo like STS. I was going to do that to my 92 Teg but I went normal style like the rest. There IS a guy on http://www.G2IC.com that did it as a prototype for STS and he said he loved it. That's why I wanted to be the first (maybe) with the SOHC STS kit. (BTW I wasn't trying to link to another forum, just saying that that's where I saw it, Sorry Mods) I went the sorry route and bought a JDM D15B off Ebay. It's really clean though and you could eat off of it so I'm happy. $600 is a hell of a deal for a motor with 32,000 miles on it.

I'm still snickering about the Honda parked on the railroad tracks...
Keyless entry not working...automatic kill switches....."honk honk", big headlight, 15 million + lbs of moving freight train & inertia of cast steel and iron......I can see an interesting dilemma here...

By the way, that wasn't supposed to be a racial innuendo. I grew up in Tampa FL and lived around many different races. Even though I live in Pennsyltucky doesn't mean I rally with the KKK. I am a firm believer in "we are all created equal and all bleed red" kind of person.
