No but you cant just bolt it on and drive it. You have to dyno tune it, use a program like crome. Also, that requires you to convert to obd1.

You dont need to replace your internals to turbo.
Make sure the kit comes with things like, Intercooler, Injectors, Engine Management, and get it tunned.
Do some searching in the Forced Induction forum.

You do not need to reinforce it but it depends on your turbo needs. If you're running 25lbs daily you're going to want to reinforce the block. Don't buy any ebay specials on turob kits, but don't buy a Greddy one either. Piece together your own system (buy a used manifold in the honda-tech market place, intercooler brand new, turbo from a saab or something..you get the idea). You can put together your own system for <1000, but you're not finished there, you might wanna reinforce the block (or might not) or might wanna build up the engine (or might not) but you definately need to convert to ODB-I and install a program like hondata and have it dyno tuned professionally.
Oh yeah, if you're going to be pushing a lot of psi you're going to need a larger fuel pump, and fuel management system. I hear your stock one is good for about 200whp, but I'd get a aftermarket one anyways, just to expand the tuning options. Don't buy a VAFC either, your VTEC is fine the way it is, it doesn't need to be adjusted .

I agree with MOST of what you are saying, but I feel the greddy kit is a great beginner turbo kit. That was my first kit and having everything in front of me was handy. My second install I pieced my kit togetyher, but I found the knowledge gained from the greddy kit was useful. Just my .02 cents
