This turbo worth it or not??

Default This turbo worth it or not??

This guys got a garret turbo and a greddy manifold for 200 bucks. Its the whole kit except the intercooler. Its for a d series. Would it be worth it or should i just save my money. How do i upload pics?

ya for $200 as long as its all in good working condition...(no shaft play..ETC) upload them at like photobucket.com and copy and paste the link between the [img][/img]

no way man.
if you're going to go turbo, try not to take any shortcuts, but if it's inevitable (which it shouldn't be) then whatever.

trust me. i went ghetto on a turbo "kit" and expletiveed up. i learned the hard way. don't go ghetto and get **** that'll actually make power.

i wouldn't buy it because it's simply too dirty and i don't happen to have any gloves to put the stuff in the trunk.

i hate driving home with dirty hands.

but if you have gloves and can put it in the trunk without getting **** all over your hands then go for it.

oh, something shiny!

</TD></TR></TABLE> i'm that guy on this forum ...you know...the one with the good experiences with xs turbo's ...and i will say i've never seen first hand a bad one....can't bet $200 if your on a budget
