no your internals will be fine but you are going to need something along the lines of the v-afc hack with 450cc injectors and a 255l fuel pump should do nice

i am tuned for 8 but i dont see that much every day. maybe once a week. it all depends on condtion of the motor, the way you drive, and who tunes it. there are tons of ppl running 10-12 psi.

fuel and wideband tuning will be your new best friends

I'm sportn' 10 psi daily on a D15B7 with stock internals and I have no problems. AFC hack and a 255 pump works great.

no need for the fuel pump. Just the vafc hack and 450's will work.

What's the AFC hack? Does it have something to do with rewiring the throttle position sensor to the O2 sensor, or was that something completely unrelated I read somewhere else?

Run a search. You'll have enough to read for about a month.
