i dont know if this is the right place to post this...but it includes a d16z6 motor into an ef

hey i was going to turbo my d16z6...right now its in my 88 hatch...i converted it from obd0 to 1....im running a chipped p28 ecu...i have dc header and aem short ram intake...i have a short shifter...i think i have a si tranny.....i have a few questions before i start putting on the turbo parts...

do i have to get a aftermarket clutch???do i have to get a new tranny?? do i have to relocate my battery?? do i need to change anything on my setup for the turbo to work properly?? its my daily driver i go to skoo, work , and home with it...im for sure not going to go over 8 or 10 psi on it....would i run into any problems with it???what are some common mistakes people do??? i dont want to screw it up..i want to do it right the first time...

I would recommend a better clutch if you are still rolling on your stock one....look into ACT or ClutchMaster's for your ride.

No, as long as your gears are currently smooth, then a new tranny is definitely not needed.

Only if you want, relocating it isnt hard at all if you do choose to.

Don't forget to upgrade your injectors, based on your turbo setup will determine what size injectors you will need...You will probably use anything from 310-450...You will also need to upgrade your fuel pump....the Warlboro 255lph is most common in this case.

Make sure you have it tuned properly and it will be safe.....this is assuming your compression in your motor is alright...if your not sure, have it compression tested to make sure all cylinders are up to par for this sort of power.

Its a reccomendation everyone around here seems to grasp heavily onto. I am running my stock fuel pump with 0 issues.

If you think so... Its already been proven the Type R flows as much as a stock CX pump... so......
