Default Turbo my D15B?

Hey, before I start i'l mention that I did a search on 'turbo D15B' and found nothing.

I own an JDM Civic EG8 Vti (1500 Sohc vtec) & ive just done the basic mods (mentioned in signiture). Im now seriously considering a turbo setup.
My engine has done 118,000 KM's.
My setup would be for my daily driven car so a 5-6 PSI setup would be done with standard internals, box, & clutch.
I can get this setup for about as much as a B16A2 setup, but im from New Zealand where Turbo civics arnt very common and It would make my car different from every other SiR on the street.

Opinions welcomed

The D15B is the ONLY D15 I would turbocharge. It has stronger rods than the standard D15.

I got a d15b as well and live in oz where turbo civics are less common as well...my mechanic had a turboed d15b and it seemed nice and all...but a hybrid is much more rare man...personally im going for a b18c full swap and then building up the motor...it feels better when you beat turboed sukaz with your n/a hatch...makes em recognise yoO!

I plan on turboing my CX/Z6 mini-me. Definitely should rock out. The D15B 5-6 psi would be quick, but with proper tuning you should be able to run closer to 8-9 and maybe step over 200hp to the wheels with a bunch or torque to boot.

Boost it mang. I'm planning on doing the same with my d16z6. Going for the compression test Monday, and then it's on.

Thanks for all the advice guys.
Im bascially just building a car that I have fun driving. I know with 5-6 psi on standard internals etc I'l get beaten by a N/A B18C setup, But over here in NZ there are already N/A B18C civics pulling 12's & I want to be different (also i'l be spending alot less money).
Im really looking foward to seeing the looks on peoples faces when a EG8's Wastegate goes off in their face

Any more advice would be appreciated

Thanks, Those turbo kits are definatley nice but Im in New Zealand where importing those kind of kits cost heaps of $$$
Im getting a custom setup for $3000 NZD which I think is around $1500 USD.

I currently have rear drums, and im looking to upgrade before the turbo kit is installed. Im probly just going to do the straight foward SiR rear disk swap, where apparently its a straight 'bolt off, bolt on' mod. Any suggestions about brakes?

thanks.
