Default Turbo Kit - Is this everything I need?

I am looking at purchasing this Bolt-on turbo kit for my '93 del Sol with a B18C1 swap from an Integra GS-R. This is what the turbo comes with:

(1 piece) .50 Stage III Wheel T3/T4 TO4E Turbocharger
(1 piece) Stainless Steel Manifold
(1 piece) Stainless Steel 5-Bolt Downpipe
(5 pieces) Full set of hand made TIG Welded Complete piece 2.5" charge piping
(1 piece) Wastegate Dump Tube
(1 piece) 38MM Wastegate
(1 piece) TurboXS "RFL" BOV
(1 piece) SUPER 680mm X 460mm X 180mm Intercooler

Here is a picture also of everything that comes with it.

IS THIS EVERYTHING I NEED? I DON'T WANT TO PURCHASE IT IF IT IS MISSING PARTS.
ALSO, CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A LINK FOR A GOOD BOOST CONTROLLER?

probably gonna need some work with the charge pipes and your downpipe

you need injectors, oil lines, vacuum lines, some kind of fuel management... and alot of research before you go slapping this thing on... remember it's all in the tune

thank you for the quick responses. do i have to get my vehicle tuned before i put the kit on , or after it? and also, the ECU thing, i am buying an ECU from Chris an Xenocron. It is a Skunk2 that he can program for me. Only like 175 bucks. I have been talking to him for about 2 weeks now.

Fake? WTF

The picture looks pretty real to me. It also looks like a typical eBay turbo kit. I have heard good and bad things about the no-name turbos off of ebay. Use an oil restrictor on the turbo and get a great tune.

there's very mixed reviews on these things... i personally would never buy one because of the fact that i've seen one of their compressor wheels shatter and go all into the motor... blown motor

but i've also heard of somebody in my town that's had one for a year and a half... all he did was get a new manifold because the ssautochrome one cracked.... it's your call your motor just be cautious

i don't have any certain power level i want. i do want whatever power i can get for at most 1500-2000. i'm saving up this money myself and 2000 will take me probably 4 months to save up. the 700 dollars for an SSautochrome one will take me like a month, but i don't want a kit that falls apart. I want to buy a kit that is reliable, and overall a decent amount of power.

my '93 civic del sol has a b18c1 swap from a gs-r. it has edge performance headers, skunk2 intake and skunk2 intake manifold, and full yonaka motorsports catback exhaust system. i am looking to gain at least 100 horsepower from this turbo kit. is this possible by spending 1500-2000 dollars?

If you dont have the money to replace an engine, dont boost. You cant afford it. Its really that simple. You need to really know what youre doing, be able to fix it, and maintain an engine running in ways it was never intended to

By fake, I mean SSAC's products arent what they say they are - if it says garrett, for example, its not.
Theyre total junk.
Do some searching on this site (or any other) and you will see tons of people's bad reviews.

No, I have not bought anything from them...nor would I ever.
With a track record like theirs, why would I? The only reason they get any business at all, is because their so cheap. People think that its the best they can afford, and it has to be "ok"...its not.

Get yourself a used greddy turbo kit. You can get them for the price youre talking, and will make about that much power. It will probably come with some kind of management (even if its older style) and will keep your engine from killing itself much better than you would think (yes, it is conservative...for a reason)

$1500-2000 will NOT get you boosted using a reputable brand named kit. even if you got that kit youd still need injectors, fuel pump, boost controller, tapped oil pan and oil lines, and a full exhaust. ssautochrome has a bad reputation for parts breaking so id advise you to go another route.

and i wouldnt trust the skunk2 ecu too much either. get hondata or neptune and get that thing on the dyno with a good tuner which will end up costing close to $1k

turbocharging costs more than people really do realize after EVERYTHING is put together correctly.

check out the forced induction classifieds, do some searching in the forced induction forum on here too, the current and archived content

with the ssautochrome kit you also need to do alot of cutting/welding on the charge pipes, know this first hand

and the quality sucks ofcourse

regarding a site for boost controllers.

I recommend the blitz boost controller since it has 3 settings so you can set it for 0 psi for smog and for daily driving and when you need it.

what i would do if i were you is buy everything from SSAC EXCEPT the turbo and manifold. use an eclipse turbo, do some research on a good exaust manifold and eclipse injectors. then get a good tune and it should be reliable enough for you. plus the other stuff that they mentioned

personally i would NEVER trust a no name turbo but piping is all the same to me.

I might get a MimoUSA Bolt-On turbo kit for about 1500 to 1700 dollars. You can look at their products at http://www.mimousa.com. They also have a guarantee on everything they sell, so thats a plus. Let me know what you guys think. And thanks to the guy who posted the Boost Controller ^^!!

I would never personally make my own turbo, but I may have someone do that for me. I have seen homemadeturbo.com, and I'm not trying that.

lols it's not even that hard to make your own turbo kit, and in the end it'll probably save you more money you could use on a tune.
