Default turbo kit for civic

Hey guys,
I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages for getting a turbo kit. What are the things i should look out for. I'm planning to turbo my civic 98 that has a b-series motor, but I'm looking for information on it and some feedback. Thanks guys.

The + you get will be basically more hp & torque. Oh I forget the cool BOV sound that goes wiisshhhhhhhhhhhh....

The - is that its a pain to keep up with and reliability will go down hill. Lots of maintenance to keep turbo.

I think that was short and sweet.

I would highly suggest searching in the forced induction forum if you want to learn everything about turboing the b series

well you get what you pay for so do your research in the companys and the forums but it does take a little bit more work to maintain depending on the level of the the turbo and the horespower your are looking at gaining, but you should be able to run like 6-9 pounds on stock internals

Not if you do it right. I turbo'd my car in April, running 7 psi of boost. I have put 18k miles on the car and only changed the oil and filter. Not one single problem with the turbo!
