Hey guys,
I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages for getting a turbo kit. What are the things i should look out for. I'm planning to turbo my civic 98 that has a b-series motor, but I'm looking for information on it and some feedback. Thanks guys.

The + you get will be basically more hp & torque. Oh I forget the cool BOV sound that goes wiisshhhhhhhhhhhh....
The - is that its a pain to keep up with and reliability will go down hill. Lots of maintenance to keep turbo.
I think that was short and sweet.

I would highly suggest searching in the forced induction forum if you want to learn everything about turboing the b series

You would see real nice gains with turbo'n a "B" I realize this is your first post and welcome to the board You will find lots of usefull info on here. But try SEARCHING. Go to search and type turbo b16 or something like that, there is tons of **** on here about this subject

well you get what you pay for so do your research in the companys and the forums but it does take a little bit more work to maintain depending on the level of the the turbo and the horespower your are looking at gaining, but you should be able to run like 6-9 pounds on stock internals

Not if you do it right. I turbo'd my car in April, running 7 psi of boost. I have put 18k miles on the car and only changed the oil and filter. Not one single problem with the turbo!
