Default turbo help! need some one

so im putiing my turbo parts together and i was wondering were does the wastegate need to dump at.? stupid question i know. pictures would be nice or instrutions. spare me the embarasment....

For future reference you should post this in the FI section.

The waste gate can either dump the atmosphere (will not pass SMOG test if you have to worry about that) or you can have it recirculate back into the exhaust. Basically you just have a pipe that goes from the waste gate "exhaust" and other end of the pipe welded into the exhaust pipe.

Yeah, that's where a lot of pple have it going, just have the tube hang.
