i was gonna put this in forced induction but it gave me some message saying i cant
i have a completely stock civic 94 hatch
i have a chance to buy a used turbo with every thing except an intercooler from a friend

can my car take it?
its a d series engine
he also had it on his d series engine
will anyhting blow up in my car?

So many variables. Yes it will fit your car. Depends on what your HP goes are depends on what you upgrade. General rule is under 10 psi on stock internals with a good tune. Now psi and HP are two differnent things. I would say hit up http://www.homemadeturbo.com and read for the next week on this.

The first thing I can say or would like to ask you is the kit for a D-series motor? What type of boost is this kit capable of making? From my personal experience 10 to 12 Lbs. of boost ( MAX ) is what I would put on stock internals. Before you install the turbo kit try finding out the possible HP the kit is cappable of making and order injectors accordingly also make sure you get atleast a 255 LPH fule pump. So you dont lean anything out then you`ll break something as apposed to blowing something up !

What size is the turbo? t3/t25/t66?? As long as you keep it under 10 lbs of boost then you should be ok keeping it stock, the only thing you would want to upgrade would be the injectors and fuel pump. A turbo timer increases the life of your turbo which is nice but not a requirement. BOV is highly reccommended. Also might want to consider hondata.

Ok you have to weigh your options here, how much are you paying for all of this stuff?? If you are getting a good deal for the manifold and downpipe you still might want to consider it because it isn't hard at all to find a t3 for cheap, I'm not sure on the rebuild, that might be super easy.

You'll blow it up if you don't know what you're doing.

Do some research on turbos (first learn how they work) and then buy your own kit depending on your goals. It might take a while, but you'll be more knowledgeable and probably won't blow up your motor.
