For a turbo d16 , what flywheel ?
 
I'm going to change my clutch soon , might as well change the flywheel too . But what flywheel weight should i get ? 12.5 or that 8.8 ? im running a greddy kit if anything. and how light is too light ? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif

I would think you would get a flywheel that is on the heavy side becuase when you shift with a lightweight flywheel you rpms drop like a rock, but with a heavier flywheel they drop slower thereby allowing the turbo to not lose boost as fast as a lightwieght flywheel.

depends on your driving style... do u rev match alot? drag? autox? or just daily driving.

If you have money to blow and are going to change the clutch anyway, u'll have more fun with a lightened flywheel. otherwise, stock is fine.

I am planning on going with a 12lb flywheel when I change my clutch.

I rev match alot , but this is going towards a daily driver , and a little bit of autox . i mean very little autox.

i am building a d16 with a t3/t4 and i got a 12.5 lb. act streetlite i think its called.. i didn't want to go with the 7 or 8 lbs. because my car reved pretty good with the old greddy kit i had so i will let you know.. my car will be back up in about 2 weeks...
