Default Turbo D15b7...

Alright well im sticking with the D15B7 head and going to turbo it in a month, well i ordered the ARP bolts so far what else so i wouldnt go blowing this small engine
What size head gasket would you prefer? nothing over 10 PSI (for now)

umm a commonly overlooked piece that (if you do ur turbo set up right) will greatly reduce the chance that you'll blow your engine, is a turbo timer....and thats my two cents on this topic lol

what the hell does a turbo timer having to do with blowing the motor??????? a turbo timer is used to allow the center cartridge/bearing in the turbo to cool before shutting down the car, nothing else.

oh yeah if you are planning on replacing the head gasket go ahead and get some head studs while you are there. umm, and become friends with your local dyno tuner.

because the oil can turn hard from the intense heat that the turbo creates, thus, if you dont let ur turbo cool down that makes your oil a lil denser and the more and more you do that the worse it is for your engine. Making a simple 3000 mile replacement to about 1000 or less, and if you dont realize it and go on for 3000+ miles, well, i dont want to know what the engine will look like

a .040 cometic steel head gasket will work fine
