Yeah, tell that to BauleyCivic and the other's who make great power on them.
BTW, why did you buy a turbo without knowing what the hell to do with it?

i'd disagree. i have the b7, and a 14b (tdo5h), and waiting for spring to install it. you should be able to make about 170whp safely. if all you have is the turbo, plan on spending at least another $700 on other parts, unless you have access to welders and stuff, and can make everything. yeah, a d16 isnt that much more expensive, but if you already have the b7, turbo it. when that dies, put in a d16 and use the turbo kit from your b7 for the d16. why waste the b7? if you have any more questions i might be able to help. i dont know a whole lot cause i havent actually done it yet. but if you are going for it, i can let you know on some cheap quality parts that will do what you need.

you better read up A LOT. there is way more to it than just bolting up a turbo, you may have to grind some **** off for it to even fit. I know someone who had to do that to fit a 1g dsm turbo on his h22. and plus you have to have someone that knows how to tune it.

I got the turbo for free. If i was to put it on my car i would Definitely rebuild it. I just wondering if its even worth putting on my motor. Some local peeps say yeah but you guys say no. i was thinking if its going to cost me that much i could buy a b series or even wait awile and get me a prelude(h22) engine. Thanks for all the help and suggestions!

meh i dunno maybe he should do it, sounds like fun. i dunno but if i had a turbo d15 i'd love talking about it. lol who the hell turbo's weak motors, it'd be fun to play with and a good drive. after all your never going to have the fastest car, and racing is nothing but constant pissing matches. just drive it for fun and have a good time. wether its better than a turbo LS or a H22 is irrelevant if you ask me.
honestly if you want to turbo that motor, do it. if not don't
