Turbo B16a2 idle problem. Video link inside
So I've got a imported 97 CRX del sol running a boosted B series with hondata.
I've uploaded a video to youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQHE2...er_profilepage
As you can see in the video after a minute the idle goes erratic and idles at about 2,000 RPM and bounces up and down, there is no CEL, i've cleaned the IAC valve out with part cleaner. When I unplug the IAC valve the idle changes but is still erratic. It is leaking coolant due to a bad seal, Perhaps I will put some rtv silicone around the plastic gasket. I cant seem to find any vacuum leaks, actually when I disconnect the lines to my BOV and boost gauge there is no suction or or pressure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm just about out of ideas lol.

It could be a vacuum leak. Try spraying some carb cleaner on the hoses and gaskets.. dont spray too much
if not first adjust your throttle body screw by turning it clock wise a bit

Replaced spark plugs and oil, sealed the IAC with some rtv silicone. sprayed some electronic parts cleaner and butane, had no results except when sprayed by the intake. strangely when i adjusted the throttle screw it made no effect. I have been noticing a small bit of white smoke from the exhaust lately, but the last time I checked it was running a bit rich which might be why. I'm thinking about grabbing a fog machine and feeding it into the intake, the strangest thing to me is that there is no pressure or vacuum whenever I create a vacuum leak.

So I played with the throttle screw a bit more, its now as far clockwise as it can but it has actually calmed down a bit, it is not fluctuating like before but it is still idling at 1,600 RPM now. Perhaps its time to play with the s200?

I cant think of nothing else... if it has white smoke coming out from the exhaust
Is it straight pipe? or does it have a aftermarket muffler? if not maybe its ur head gasket going bad

yeah the entire exhaust system, even the cat, (which doesnt meet regulation) is all aftermarket. I havn't found any mixed fluids but I do suspect my water pump to be going bad, because a bit of coolant is leaking from the side of the engine. hmm might just have to get a fog machine to search for leaks, lol.
