Re: turbo????????????? (95civiccpdx)
Bad doesn't quite say it.
Horrible is more accurate.
Remove the charge pipe and set the wastegate to 0psi until you get it tuned.

Now that i think of it, if you dont want to run the turbo for the moment but dont want to completely uninstall it, is that possible without damaging anything? would you just disconnect the charge piping, use the piping on the TB side as an intake, and set the wastegate to 0psi and let the exhaust gas run through the downpipe??

$1000 is ridiculous if that does not include something like hondata in the cost.
$400-$600 is more accurate, usually closer to $500.

You mean pretty much exactly re-typing what I said?
Yeah, you can.

Yes, the guy that wants to tune his car for 1k is obviously in the ***-raping business.
Don't take your car to him - should only take between 2 and 600 for a full tune. Usually about 100-200/hr - a Honda isn't exactly rocket science to tune.

the spring dictates the lowest boost setting possible. so for instance if there's a 7psi spring in there that's as low as boost will go.
