Default tuning the ecu?

How much will it cost to get my ecu tuned and reprogrammed, i just want to raise my rev limiter and get rid of my top speed limiter. its a b15b7 1992 civc sedan. dx. the motors built for higher rpms and all just its running on a stock ecu.

i just know it can handle it because the guy i got it from just rebuilt it and i was their half the time the block was in his shop. and he wrecked the car later and i got the motor cheap. and its under 2000 miles on it. it has some sort of aftermarket cam and id have to ask him what kinda pistons and **** he ran but i know it wasn't stock ones.

My friend told me he is running a p-028 ecu in his d15b7 instead of the stock p06 and he says its way faster because it thinks the b7 has v-tec and it automaticly dumps more fuel into the motor and advances the timing at a certain rpm. and he said the stock p06 like i have red lines at 7 grand and the p28 ecu goes to 7800.

can i change my ecu out for a d16z6 ecu???

you can if you want to blow your motor up. i know your young and curious but get it done right please. we are here to help and no one will condone you putting a p-28 on your d15b7.

i have the same motor in my car dude. its not strong and we all know that. i use it for commuting though so 102 hp is more then enough for me. if you want more fuel and advanced timing, put new injectors in and get a tuner to make your car work the correct way so it does not break. there is a reason that motor is redlined lower then the z6.

Any stock honda motor can up to 8100 RPM and then after thats when the stock valvetrain will come apart and drop a valve into the combustion chamber. i know this but my motor is brand new and is built good aftermarket crap. im not looking to rev it higher than 7600rpm. i just want that extra 600 rpm because im on a 4speed auto right now and when i switch gears it has huge *** gears and goes to like 3000rpm from a 7 grand 1st gear to 2nd gear and that kills it. i have a 5speed at the shop but i don't have the time to do it right now.

I'm not sure any stock motor can get that high without some issues man. It might not blow today or tomorrow, or even at all, but what's the purpose? You're hardly making any extra power up that high if you are at all.

yea, I'm getting my best HP at like 5800rpm BUT that not why i want that extra 600rpm when im in 1st it switch's at 7,000 and then it hits 2nd gear and is at 3500 RPM if i could switch 1st gear at 7600 rpm it would be at 4100rpm which is way closer to my top notch hp. and will help a lot. if i had my 5speed in it i would have 5 small gears and wouldn't be a problem. but i dont i have 4 big *** gears and 1 week *** motor. You understand what I'm trying to do?

ever try clicking on the other forums for say, engine management?

edit: or realize your 100hp wont go fast even if you bring it to 10000rpm

I'm asking a simple *** question, answear it and leave. don't tell me I'm a dam retard let me do my thing if i wanna take my chances on blowing my motor then let me and just tell me how to get rid of the stock limiter. i paid for the dam motor its no dam problem its a dam single cam and they hold together waaaay better than yalls damn B's.
