Tucked exhaust for 00 civic coupe
I have a Tanabe Racing Medallion now and it hangs real low...not a good combo for a lowered car.
Anybody have an exhaust that is tucked real up into the under chassis? Im sick of scraping it over everything. I think the tanabe's hook's are too long, so it hangs too low

yea, I'm talking about the piping though. Around where the cat is. The muffler is really not an issue, I dont care about it, it will get scraped no matter what.
keep the suggestions coming!

well you could do some customizing and fabricate it yourself by shortening the hooks.... that might take some time but it could save you from buying a whole new exhaust system

hahaha. well, that's what happens when your exhaust is tucked right under the bumper and the car is white. lol i get too lazy to wipe it off. usually i did it every two weeks or so. lol
delLudeVTEC, you can have a muffler shop fix the hangers to make it sit higher

i love my N1, ive never scraped and i love the sound from my D series engine echoing out the back. I cant imagine how great itll sound with some pacesetter racing headers.

i remember a thread a while back when the owner of an EM1 put an ITR exhaust on, and it tucked up really high and was really not that noticable

Go to a Honda dealership and pick up some stock rubber mounts for your exhaust. If it continues to scrap then raise your car or stop backing all the way up to things

dont mind the writing, it was a joke on another forum...
I think I'll pick up some fresh mounts, and then take it to get shorter hangars
