Tubro Kits for 92-96 Civic Ex
Hey Guys, Sorry if i make any newbie mistakes, it's my first time . Anyways, I am looking for anyone who has had any experience with turbo kits that they have installed or drive. I will be buying a civic Ex soon, and am planing on putting a turbo in the car. I am a fairly proficent mechanic, but I was an "V8 kid" before this. I have looked at the "F max" and the "Drag 3" so if you have any advice for a guy please feel free.
Thanks
Scott

oh yeah new apex-i turbo kit looks pretty nice.. with optional Intercooler.. and basically it fits in between.. the GREDDY kit
and the DRAG/REV-HARD kits.. basically becuz it produces good power with good spool-up characteristics..

now i know that the drag and revhard kits are decent, but i thouht that the fmax was just as good if not a bit better than these two. why would you say that the fmax is a pain in the a$$? just looking for your reasons and trying to get everyones opinion. it seems to me that building your own kit is the way to go though.....and possibly less expensive if done right. does anyone have any good recommendations for individual parts to make a kit....(which turbo, manifold, wastegate, BOV, intercooler, electronics, etc you would use). thanks for the help.

Re: Tubro Kits for 92-96 Civic Ex (DragIIcivic)
the only thing that keeps my thoughts from a drag III kit is the fact that i have heard a lot of stories about the manifolds cracking. not sure if these are all true and what conditions they were under when this happened but it still makes me wonder. any insight on this? thanks again for the help and info. also...dragIIcivic....what kinds of numbers ar you putting down with the SOHC Drag kit....whp, quarter mile...whatever you've got....thanks.

I've had the drag kit for over a year w/ out any probs...installed it myself. I'll post some hp figure when I get them...should be right around 200whp and 170ftlbs.............high 14sec quarter mile passes.
