What kind of SPRAY to use to coat/protect coilover sleeves
Well I'm getting Teins SS...
I wanted to know what works best in protecting the coils & sleeves & adjustable ****.
I would like to find a simple spray but if all else fails I can always slap on the old fashion lub/grease to protect it from dirt, corrosion, salt, air and SNOW... (MN)
I should be able to clean them once every month in the summer and maybe once every 3months in the winter.
THanks in advance fella & gals

good link, but can you apply that to the SLEEVE threads?
and still be able to adjust them freely?.....

wd40 is a solvent with lubricant added to it, it doesnt stay there very long. just put clean grease on there and whenever u adjust it clean it off so you dont get grit jammed in the threads.

Actually tein ss have a nice stanless steel sleeve that holds up nicely. I've had mine a little over a year and till this day ,they still look brand new. Just clean them with brake cleaner to get all the loose dirt and grit off and lube it with some wd40...Works good for me and I'm constantly adjusting the coilovers.

I have K&W coilovers, they came with a teflon spray that is designed specifically for this. I think you can order the spray off their website. Larry

well, I've been using this product for every single car and i find it works great: http://www.krown.com they also have an aersol can with their product, I think it goes for ~$10CDN. You'd have to contact them to see if they can send it to you, as far as I know krown is not available anywhere in the US.
