Trying to find a reasonable price tag.
Ok Im looking for people to give me their first guess at what they would pay for this car.
92 dx hatch auto w/143k, power window lock mirror conversion, hx wheels, and included in the sale would be a set of 2k HX axles, a 2k manual tranny, shift linkage, origional mirror/cover and manual windows, and a set of 4 steelies with brand new tires.

tell them that I'll offer them $1.00 and then you tell them you'll pay $2.00, that makes you the top bidder. Works everytime. No really, where I live that car would bring about $1,000 give or take!

Too bad that's not my sale and i'm not in Georgia. These lame0rs here would pay 3000 for a Civic and not question it. I sold my beater for 3500 and it had cracked body kit, messed up clutch, and needed new axles and the kid was rocking it hard.
Give him 1500, that's a fairn price

Not necessarily...I have a head with 145,000 miles on my block and tranny AND original clutch that all have 156,000 miles. Car runs PERFECTLY, no burning oil. The clutch is about to die though, I dont recommend people taking original clutches to 150k+ It all depends on how much the original owner took care of the car...in my case it was my dad who drive like a granny and changed the oil every 2500 miles...
okay, now back on the subject...i'd start at 1500...because its an auto and not in demand, not to mention the entire front end needs to be painted...which is like 1000 bucks in itself

well if there's not alot of dents and not to much gaps between the lights a good 2k since you'll need to spend about another grand to get a new paint job

I'd wait and find something in better shape, but if you must get it, I would pay no more than $1500 for that.

The fact that it's an unpainted, high-mileage, EK-mirrored, automatic hatchback with a bad clutch and bad axles makes it no more than a $1000.00 car. Good luck selling it, though.
