Icon2 Trying to B.A.R. my car*advice needed

okay so i went to get my car bar'd today, but i ended up not passing and the ref said needed to fix these things to become bar'd.

96civic swap B18C1 *w/ b18c1 cat installed already? i believe but the exhaust installer told me he couldnt install another sensor because there was nowhere to plug it in but i didn't understand how that worked out..

1)Repair Engine Light - how do i find why my engine light is on?
2)repair oxygen sensor*install missing O2 Sensor & install factory/arb approved cat and exhaust.
3)Connect disconnected wiring for computer and sensors* i didn't see any disconnected besides the missing cat he mentioned..
4)install/replace properly route vacuum hoses
5)install proper EVAP system to work proper for b18c1 engine
6)repair high HC emissions- whats that?
7)repaire High CO emissions - whats that?
9)Check NOx emissions after repairs - what is this..

i need help with these what do you guys on HT say i should do?
right now im on a budget since i have no job.. so i was thinking of illegal smog then fixing these one by one.. then going back to bar.

For the cel, go to the thread at the top of the page and check it out,

You should have a plug for 2 o2's as you are obd2.

1. Has been covered by 98civdx.

2. One sensor is on the exhaust manifold down pipe just before the cat. The other is on the cat. If you're missing one, you're likely missing it on the cat, which means you have the wrong cat (and obd1 cat). This goes hand in hand with the comment he made about installing an ARB approved cat and exhaust.

3. He should have told you exactly which wires are disconnected. If he didn't call him or visit him again and verify which wires are not connected that ought to be.

4-5. Sounds like you don't have the emissions equipment installed. You'll need to make sure you have a PCV valve, charcoal cannister, and all vacuum lines hooked up. There may be more, I'm not sure. If you don't know how to do this, I suggest taking it to a shop to get this done.

6-9. These may sort themselves out once you've got the proper emissions equipment, o2 sensor, and appropriate cat installed, depending on the health of your motor.

I'm not sure if the ls/gs/gsr all use the same length of pipe...I would think they do since they go on the same chassis.

Yes, if you get an exhaust from '96-01 Integra, it will have the o2 bung on the cat as well as on the exhaust manifold down pipe.

For 6-9 to be addressed, you'll need to hook up the emissions equipment as well.
