trunk wont shut unless slammed
My trunk wont shut unless it is slammed shut.it must be coming from the bottom part because I see a piece of plastic that's broken. Anyone know the name of the bottom latch so that I can fix it? I keep searching for the name of it and its not coming up. Bottom trunk latch isn't working either lol Part numbers appreciated!!

1) Don't assume (A DAY LATER) after every thing was said that I haven't done it; after the fact that I said ill have to search for it.
2) Not only am I new to this site, bought my del sol 2 weeks ago, but im trying to learn about cars including this one.
3) I didn't know the part name until he sent me the link then I looked on ebay. thank you again @muellersfan

I feel ya brother. I’ve been on other non Honda forums for my other cars and have never gotten any **** the way I do here. Some dudes on here are pretty koo with info and don’t flame but if you chose a mod that isn’t the preferred route, that’s a wrap.

You actually think people were so helpful when this site was first developed? People didn't want to give you any advice. Info was scarce and no one gave a **** if you learned or not. Stop feeling so entitled. Do your homework and search.

Not to highjack but that’s good to know. I have the opposite problem. My release lever won’t unlock my trunk unless someone is pulling up on it as I’m pulling the lever. Guess the cable is loose? I wouldn’t know how to tighten it.
