Trunk lid install questions??????
Hey guys, I'm going to install my VIS CF lid on sat and realized that I would need to swap out the lock and ****, stuff that I forgot about when I ordered and planned on installing it this weekend. I'm 3hrs from my car right now so I havent really looked at the trunk much but if someone has done a write up or can help with some info that would great. I have searched but havent gotten much... I know how to install tail lights so no need to talk about that and I know how to take it off the car, my main worries are the lock and anything else that I might need to swap over....
Thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot!

Re: Trunk lid install questions?????? (e jay one)
I've got a 2000 Si, they are in the trunk and alot of people have had problems aligning the key lock and latch mechanism to get the lock to unlatch the trunk. I cant find an install anywhere and the only threads anywhere are dead ends... Some help on this would be awesome

I'm kinda tired I hope I read this right, ur asking how easy it is to switch the lock assembly over? if so it's cake dude, you need a 10mm deep socket and a socket wrench or cordless impact. remove that 10mm and the clip on the latch and switch it over, alignment is easier than that just leave the striker loose and eyeball it. I hope I helped, if not that's what I get staying up late, instead of sleeping. Good Luck.
