Trunk button broken

Trunk button broken
the trunk release inside the car on the drivers side is broken, it seems jammed and i cant pull it up to open the trunk. what could be wrong? its a 2001 lx, but its out of warranty.

there's a switch in trunk area...if u accidentially pushed it down... then u can't open it from the trunk release inside the car. only from the key. this is a safety feature. just go to the trunk..pull the switch back up(or down, not sure) and it should work again. i think thats ur problem. i mean...its a brand new car.
nevermind.. i just reread ur post..and u mentioned it was jammed. i dunno bout that then.

Re: Trunk button broken (Civic Maniac)
the cable may be binding somewhere along the way. trace it from start to finish and see if you can elimate the problem that way.
