Is it true that if you don't use it, you lose it?
I havent hit vtec on my gsr for around 6 months now. I'm just worried that when the time comes, that it won't be able to perform. Do i need to worry? thanks

No that's not true at all.
Vtec is a combination of your middle lobe on your cam gears and a Vtec solenoid that under a certain pressure activates the middle lobe on your camshafts
Center Vtec lobe
Vtec solenoid
So by not 'hitting' vtec or reving high, it will not dissapear. It's always there

What are you talking about? When the time comes? some of the fastest cars in the world don't have Vtec. Though some do have a form of variable timing...
Why would it dissappear? You're letting those fragile engine parts rest inside the engine. They aren't going to get stuck their. Keep your oil level cool and it'll be okay vtak boy.
