kinda OT, but i heard one of the cheaper car companies has the wiring for the power doors inside the car already, but you pay the extra money for them to plug it in.

The wiring diagram I have says " A15 vtec solenoid valve (93-95) Spool solenoid valve (1992) (except CX, DX, LX)" and that theme is repeated for the vtec pressure switch. But you can look in the cabin harness canon plug, and see if the color coded wire is in it or not.

On my 92 cx I didn't have it.
Also made in Canada.
I want a real answer to this one.

i've heard the same thing for my 92 CX but when i did the wiring for my B18C i just made my own harness instead of fooling around trying to find these mysterious wires. i saw them at the ECU but didn't bother trying to follow them. mine is also a Canadian model.

That I would agree with. I know I don't have any vtec plugs in my engine bay though.

I swear Tom telling us that all 92 models were pre wired for VTEC and 93 and after models they began to remove the wiring for it. Also when I did a swap on my buddies 92 CX, he had the wires.

Re:
i have a 93my cx, built in nov92. no vtec wires here. i can only guess that 92my models had vtec wires that go from the engine bay to the ecu, and no vtec sol/press plugs.

ALL 1992 Civics are pre-wired for VTEC!
This is a FACT.
If someone says that his wasn't then they must be thinking of the engine harness or something. No the engine harness will not have VTEC plugs or wires, but if you run a VTEC engine harness and plug it in there will be no wires that you have to add to the car's chassia harness.
This is final, and not debatable.
