Default Troubleshooting no injector pulse

It's been a long time since I've had to post a question but I haven't found all the information I'm looking for by searching.

I have a gsr swapped 92 civic with a p28. I just wire tucked my harness and I evidently have a wire or two not properly hooked up. I am running a resistor box.

I have no CEL.
Good continuity between all 4 ground wires on injectors to pins A1,2,3,5.
12V to each injector on power side with key ON

Here is what seems out of place. When I crank the engine using a DMM on the switching ground I get a steady 3V. With a test light, I get a steady dim light while cranking.

Thanks in advance for any imput.

Does the CEL work?

Why are you running a resistor box?

With Key off, is there continuity to body ground at both A23 and A24 of unplugged ECU connector A?

If that's fine, swap in a known good ECU.

I have the resistor box because I am running 1000cc low impedance injectors.

yes, I do have ground at A23 and A24, I've followed through many of your other posts on other threads where u helped with step by step diag of electrical issues and I was successfully able to fix my previous issues. Checking this ground was among those tests.

Is there spark at the plugs?

I went and retested a23 and a24 today and actually found no ground at 23. Hooked it to ground and the injectors are pulsing now.

However the car wouldn't stay running, pretty much just sputtered, so I decided to pull off the connectors for a few sensors (MAP, TPS) and noticed I didn't get a check engine light. Does this indicate that these sensors are not feeding back to the ECU?

Yep, no continuity to A23 would prevent the injectors from pulsing fuel.
  • Now reconnect all sensor connectors so that the wire colors match to the sensor.
  • Reset the ECU to clear all codes.
  • Turn the key to the ON(II) position. Does the CEL turn on and then off after 2 seconds?
