Trouble shooting... Any advice?

Default Trouble shooting... Any advice?

hello 2 everyone... just got done installing a comp stage 2 cam into my d16z6... car is running fine no check engine light, everything seems to be good ( considering this was my first time doing any engine work alone) Now the question is, why did my redline drop down to 6000. actually its 5500 in 1st if im inder load... my engine is @ 16 degrees my cam is at 0. but my distributor is retarded all the way. why does it seem that i did something wrong here... any help? thanks in advance to anyone who can assist...

anyone?!?!? i know 1200 rpm cant just up and decide to disappear. i would hate to have to take my car to a shop to get this solved... it would be a huge blow to not just my ego but also to my bank account... someone. anyone...

5500=limp mode I think

Limp mode should have a CEL too. hmmmm, have you ever seen your CEL on? It may have had the bulb removed by the previous owner to mask a previous problem
