Trouble Restarting
I am having a problem with my 92 civic DX. I can drive around just fine, but if I make a stop at the store for a few minutes and then try to start the car, it won’t start. It cranks away, but never catches. I have to wait a half hour, give or take, before it will start. Any ideas about what the problem might be?

starter might be bad or the connections might be rusted.

No the starter works fine. The car turns over it just does not start.

Re: Trouble Restarting
Is your car an automatic? Is it overheating? Is the thermostat working correctly?

Re: Trouble Restarting
I was thinking that maybe one or more of the injectors are leaking by and flooding the cylinder(s) making it hard to start. When it does start you can really smell the gas.

Re: Trouble Restarting
your main relay could have bad solder connections, causing intermittent failure to supply fuel to the engine.
another possibility is loose battery terminals or a bad battery |
