Trouble removing alternator bracket on '94 Civic EX
I've removed the two alternator bolts and the alternator will swivel in the bracket so now I need to remove the bracket. BUT, one of the bracket bolts is located in the middle and kind of behind part of the alternator. It's such a tight fit that I can't even get a wrench in there to loosen it, and it also seems like there wouldn't be enough room for the bolt to come out. Anyone know if I need a special tool to loosen this bolt.

Re: Trouble removing alternator bracket on '94 Civic EX (chad)
you have to remove the pivot bolt.....if it does not come out it will take some time
you have to get a skinny open end wrench and twist the wrench and the alternator little incriments at a time to loosten the bolt. I had to do this not to loing ago to a friends car and it is a bi@tch but it works.
