trouble changing shifter...

Default trouble changing shifter...

im having problems taking off bolt #2 in this pic, there are two of them, i broke off one on accident, but the other wont come off no matter what i try. can anyone that has had experience with this help me out?

take the whole shift linkage out of the car bolts 3 and the ones in front on the back of the trans
then take bolt 1 off then with vise grips on the back of bolts 2 loosen bolts 2 to get them off then swap all your parts then use vise grips to retighten bolts 2 and use all the steps in reverse to put it all back together

I wedged a flat head screwdriver between the linkage and the bolt. Once you put pressure on it it will come off.

i tried that, didnt work, not that much room...
