Default Transmissions

I have a 1992 CX(D15Y8) that has a **** tranny, and i was wondering would a tranny from a 2000 LX 4DR(D16Y7) fit it?

is your tranny auto or manual and is the other one auto or manual and they should fit up but youd be better of getting a si/ex tranny they have the best gearing for a d-series.

i live by a japaneese importer and they get transmissions that will fit your car (d-series) that come with stock LSD and yes its a manual trans. i came close to gettin one but decided to sell my car. But i hear there badass. they come from the jdm d15b motors but only some came with lsd. there are other threads that talk about um
