Transmission Types
I am interested in buying a tranny for an ex or 92-95 si. How can you tell the difference between these trannies and the cx, dx, or hx trannies, without them being installed. Is there some designation numbers on the outside of the tranny I need to look at. Also is there any way to tell if the tranny is in good shape or not grinding etc. if it is not installed, or do you just have to take the sellers words.
As u can tell this is for a sohc d16z6, just need a new tranny for my hatch and I would prefer the ex/si tranny.
Any advice will help.
Thanks Guys.
