Transmission problems
OK the background info......B18C in a 97 Ex. I put a LSD in the tranny, a new clutch and flywheel.
Last night I hear a pop ( the car jerks ) when I get on it for the first time. Then I lose all mobility.
Now I can't get the car to move forward at all. When I put it in reverse...I get a tiny bit of movement and a whine'ing noise...but that is all I can get. It sure feels and sounds like it is going into gear.
The speedometer doesn't move at all. When I let off the clutch you can hear it catch because the idle drops. But I get nothing from the tranny.
There was a little tranny fluid on the ground afterwards...looks like it came out where the passenger axel meets the tranny. ( I’m hoping all this is because the axel popped out )
I'm pulling it home tonight and will start the trouble shooting. I just wanted some ideas before I started.
Any help is appreciated

Re: Transmission problems
If your Axel popped out then when you put it into gear your speed0 will still read how fast the tranny is moving.
So something probably broke. GL

Re: Transmission problems
I have question similar to yours. But mine its hard to go into gears especially 1st gear. I can still push into all gears but its hard to get in not as smooth as before. I did fill up the tranny fluid but still hard to get into gears. Its can drive and run but just hard to get into gears. As for clutch breathe I did over 10 times but still hard to get into gears. Anyone know what's wrong?

Re: Transmission problems
I use Honda manual fluid. Nope, I haven't flush yet. I just add more to its. The reason I add more to its because I take out the engine to replace the block and tranny fluid came out when I pulled out the axles. I don't know if there's any leak...only thing I think might be bad is the clutch line breather.....

Re: Transmission problems
Just a fyi it was the axel that popped out. ( I had to replace the little ring on the axel....it was to loose not letting the axel go in all the way )
The speedo still isn't working...for reasons still unknown. I just did the swap....so it may have never worked.
