Re: transmission problem
its your main shaft bearing thats out.
u need take the tranny off the car
pull the case apart, take everything out just to change it.
people will try n tell you its your throw out bearing, but it isnt, cause throw out bearings only make noise with the clutch in.

Re: transmission problem
u have a few ways to go at this.
1.(being the most expensive)
-Buy the oem input shaft bearing from honda.
-Take the car to a transmission shop and pay them to do all the work.
-$400$ to take the tranny out and put it back in(while its out they will also charge you this next step before they can put it back in the car.)
-$300 to open the tranny up while its off the car and take the guts out just to replace the bearing and reassemble it
or
2.) take the tranny off the car your self and bring it in to the shop with the bearing u bought from honda and have them take it apart and fix it and put it back together again.
-ur lookin at 300$ish
-then u take the tranny back home and put it in urself.
In option two you save about 400$ but upon taking it out if ur nto careful ur gonna screw something up or get hurt or be prepared to be frustraited to hell.
Also up[on putting it back in yourself your gonna be ten times frustraited and everything will be VERY loose and cause balljoint problems and looseness in your front end unles your good with a torque wrench and tripple check everything to make sure its all tight.
