Hey was up i just changed my clutch and i drained my tranny oil. And i dont really know how to put new oil in. I heard you take off your speed sensor and put it through there but i did that and it looks like oil doesnt go in there. I have a JDM B16A tranny with lsd. pull the dipstick for the tranny, grab a funnel and pour it in the hole.

Dipstick from the tranny? If you think there is a dipstick in the tranny then you need to stop posting right now.

There is a fill and drain plug. Fill is on the left side of the tranny, drain is in the bottom, this is looking at the tranny from the passenger side.

there is no dipstick but whatever. If you look at the tranny from under the car with you facing the rear of the car the draing plug is on the bottom of the passenger side. But where do i fill it.

the drain is a 17mm, and fill is a 3/8 ratchet plug. or they are oppossite, cant remember off hand, also if you have a lsd. they make certain fluids for them

lol^

easiest way is use a funnel with a long *** flexible hose, and pour till it comes dripping back out the hole

if you use a funnel on the fill hole, pull the hose out every once and a while, because the funnel hose will block the hole. you'll be filling and filling, with no real dripping, and once you pull the hose out...tranny fluid will spew out.

Single cam 5-speed trannys take 1.9 qts

are b16s like, 2.2 or somthing?

take the fill plug out and put a hose in it that runs up to the top of the car. attach a funnel and pour in. Its not that hard. Did it myself for the 1st time, and the hardest part was getting the fill plug loose.

you can also get a pump and pump the oil thorugh the hose and into the filler hole.

tranny dipsticks are only available in special "clutchless" trannies aka automatic.

I am pretty sure that automatic transmissions do have clutches, I guess that is the reason for the quotes, but ur right haha automatics are the only ones with dipsticks

the hell? I always filled it from the top of the tranny where there' s metal stem topped with a rubber cap. The fill hole is small, but with a funnel it's much easier than going from the fill plug from the side or removing the speed sensor.

Anyways. Use Honda MTF
