anybody... i have been having hell with this tranny and the driver side axel not going in, when i tried pulling it back out to try to get it straight it was jambed... so i pried harder and it finally cracked the bottom of the tranny housing. i just got this tranny like 2 days ago for my z6/ turbo set up.... havent used it yet due to axel trouble... and i hate that i might have just screwed myself out of $225 on a tranny that i busted before i used it. please tell me some good news about getting this fixed? although this is probably a 1st? thanks

depends on where the crack is, it probably can still be welded up. however, if you have a professional shop do it, it'll probably not be worth the money. if you have a friend in an auto body class or something, they'll do it for free over there.
