transmission and clutch swap problems
Hey i just finished a clutch and transmission swap in my 95 Honda civic. I installed a new flywheel, act 6 puck clutch and sport presser plate. I started it up about a half hour ago after i finally finished it and it was chattering pretty bad when i let off on the clutch and when i had it in. my clutch kit came with both the pilot bearing and throw out bearing and they where both installed. What can this chatter be? I'm disgusted somebody help please :/

Re: transmission and clutch swap problems
All the torques where done right flywheel 87ft/lbs and the pressure plate 19ft/lbs I took my time with this. The alignment tool was not taken out until after the pressure plate was torqued. I'm very discouraged considering I don't have a garage, i do all my work outside:/ Thanks for the tips. Please keep em coming

Re: transmission and clutch swap problems
ur probably looking at a bent component from the sounds of it but if the friction disc was installed on the wrong side it would also cause chatter. could've easily mixed it up.
