Transmission/axle knocks when turning right and going strait
I have a 98 civic with an h22a w/ hasport mounts. I've had this problem for a long time and still cant figure it out. the car has been sitting since last may when i blew my clutch out. I have the correct axles and the car is at stock height on the springs. When driving it will only knock when i turn right or when it hits a dip in the road. It will drive fine in lower speeds or under low throttle but if i hit the throttle it knocks loudly. I need this fixed asap as im going to college TOMORROW and need it fixed as quickly as it can be.

i've switched out the axles multiple times and has done the same thing every time. could it be the intermediate shaft or any of the bearings?

sounds like the axle isnt locked into place in the tranny. pull the axle nut and smack it with a dead blow. if that isnt it your seal where the axle goes in the transmission could be bad and giving the axle room to move.

it might parts of the suspension like worn lower ball joint or worn bushings... check your suspension

It's fixed. Turns out that the Axles i got from advance were different than oem prelude ones and the inside knuckle was different

Yeah, same exact same with my CV joint. It was slightly off and had some grease. Whenever I turned and hit a bump it would make this loud metal clunk sound like OP described. But it's so hard to diagnose problems online because there's so many things to look at.
