I've been looking at B series trans for the past few months. The market right now has them anywhere from 500-1200. I wouldnt let the "welded diff" make it pricier since I see that as a DIY mod. For comparisons, I just picked up a USDM type r S80 for 800. I feel like that was a fair deal.

h22jspec, that is a pretty good deal on an ITR trans. OP, a welded diff is garbage and has no business being on the street. If you intend to use it for short-track asphalt or dirt racing... then maybe. The question I would be asking is why would someone install higher priced carbon synchros inside a redneck, ghetto-fabulous welded differential transmission. It doesn't make sense. Buyer beware... sounds like a $300-400 trans to me.
