Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
double check for any other bolts and if u got them all pry it off with a crowbar should come right off
|
Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
crobar is ur friend...

Re: Tranny won't come out... (PRcivicHB)
yeah, i'm positive there's no other bolts. i'll try using a crowbar but don't want to make any marks on the tranny.

Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
I had the same problem, but it was because my dumb self forgot to take of the flywheel shield.
|
Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
make sure you have the flywheel cover bolts out. a few 10mm bolts right next to the oil pan. do 1 final check to make sure u got all the other bolts out.

Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
there may be one more 17mm or 19mm bolt on the rear side. There are the 2x19mms that go to the rear T bracket and there is one more back there... might be hard to see.

Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
Is it an auto trans?
|
is this b series.....also remove the intermediate shaft
|
Re: Tranny won't come out... (Unjockable)
If you have all the bolts out, the starter, and the flywheel shield then your solution is simple, either A- pry on it a little bit. or B- pull harder. Sometimes the guides are pretty tight into the tranny and prying will be the only way off.
