Default tranny upgrade for d-series
What are people doing to beef up their tranny? Wanting to do a turbo setup and trying to see if i need to upgrade internals or find a different tranny. thanks guys

build bulletproof transmissions, add extra gears (bout 5 more)

The EX transmission has larger bearings already. But replacements for those bearings are a lot harder to find than the little ones for the DX / LX.

They hold up reasonably well until about 400hp. You can run a CG tranny out of a first gen Integra if you find you're destroying transmissions.

About the only real improvements ive heard of are the carbon syncrotech (syncros) upgrades.

Carbon synchro's don't make the transmission any stronger.
OP, do you intend to produce more than 400 wheel HP ???
