tranny swap question
ok am between buying a LS and droppin it in my 93 civic DX hatch but i wanted to know if my stock tranny can fit the LS ......ok how about a D15vtec engine would my tranny fit fine on that one???? and would my current AC compressor work with the D15vtec...

I sold a d-series transmission to a guy wanting to bolt it up to his LS engine. I told him it wouldn't work, but he kept insisting and his money was green, so....
...about a week later I got a call saying it didn't work out and he was looking for a b-series trans.
the reason it won't work even if you figured out some adapter plate or some other way to mount it, is that b-series have equal-length driveshafts and d-series don't. so your axles wouldn't fit.
