Tranny Swap Honda Del sol 94
Ok i am sure that you guys have heard this plenty of times, and I heard it is a stupid way 2 go, but I am just really curious. I currently have a Del Sol 94 Automatic and I wanna convert to a 5 speed. I went to the Honda Dealer and they gave me a list of parts I need. (If you wish Ill post the parts they gave me) A near by place will do the labor for 750, but I was wondering if I am able to do it myself, or if there is a cheaper way to go other then buying another Del sol 94, I heard that alot of times, and AGAIN i am just very curious, if there is a good way to do it then ill do it. Just need your advice and help and suggestions. Thanks ahead of times. LAte

First off read this thread it has a lot of good info with a parts list which is close to what you need.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1337459
The major differences would be shift linkage because the civic wont work and mounts MAY be different. Post up the parts list they gave you and I can tell you what you need ect.

I got your IM, sorry i was knocked out. Email me for best responce since you cant recieve PMs yet.
Theres things you need and things you dont need. The post with the link, thats my thread. Although the parts list are close there off between 96 and up and 96 and down. Your going to want to look at this thread:

Its the same list you need. Most of this stuff you could get at a junkyard for much cheaper then Honda too. Just make sure everything comes from a Del Sol.

Re: Tranny Swap Honda Del sol 94 (Luserkid)
if you want to know exactly how to do it on your exact car, e-mail me. ive done the exact swap myself and its NOT hard. its not worth 750 either. my going rate of a single cam 5 speed swap is 400.
