Default Tranny removal

Swapping the clutch and got a quick question, how do you best separate and lower the tranny from the engine? i got most the three mounts off the tranny and i think all of the bolts. im havinga bit of trouble completley separating the tranny, worried about damaging the input shaft. engine is on a EG Si A6.

Work it back and forth.. shake that ho! get it enough so you can get the blade of a screwdriver in it and work it apart that way

Yah, there are 2 guide pins between the block and bell housing. Mine were kinda sticky too. I used a small crow bar and just pryed a little bit on each side. Work on side, then the other, repeat. You do want to be careful with the input shaft so take your time.
