Re: tranny Q.?? (My JDM EJ8)
I put in Redline MTF 75w90 in my SiR tranny...shifts like butter and it's probably the best transmission I've ever used...ever. 2 Bottles, I need to buy another one so I can put a little more in there.

75w90!?! You are recommending oil that is thicker than Honda says to use?
Back before Honda made their own MTF, they used regular 10w30 in their 5-speeds. Using normal non synthetic, non high mileage type conventional 10w30 motor will not hurt your 5-speed tranny.
I have used Honda MTF and GM Syncromesh and felt no difference in gear engagment smoothness. /.02

X2, 75w90 is thick, really thick, even snow plows usually only run about 50 weight motor oil in their trannys. For some reason toyota specs 75w90 in their light trucks though.
10w30 or honda MTF is my recomendation.

Should be fine, although personally i've heard great stuff about honda's own MTF, haven't actually tried it yet so I can't comment on it.
