Default Tranny problems with b18b/GSR tranny in EG

Jacked up car today, I found problem awhile ago I got into a wreck and I must of cracked the tranny or something, today I added oil to the tranny and watched it leak out pretty quickly about a drop every few seconds.

I made a post about this a few days ago now I have some pics etc and more info.

-------orignal post------------

I was driving about a week ago and i turn around and come to a full stop, I put it into first and start to go and it just stalls as if I didn't give it gas and let the clutch out. I turned it back on and tryed to put it into gear but it wouldn't go into any gears, even reverse.
I turned the car off and put it in first then turn the car on and tryed to go and it died again as if I wasn't giving it gas. The motor revs fine and idles etc if clutch is in but if you let the clutch out even in neutrel the car dies. I have no idea what the problem is exactly.

-------orignal post------------

Today when I went out to the garage to try to look at it I was selecting gears, when car is off it goes into 1st, 2nd, 4th, and reverse, 3d and 5th it won't go into at all. When the car is in neutrel and I let out clutch (while car is turned on) it just stalls as if I let clutch out in first with no gas.

When I opened the garage door I noticed there was some oil leaking out from infront of the car, I pop hood and look and it seems to be coming from under the motor near where tranny connects to the motor, I have a GSR transmission and a 94 B18b. Could this be oil leaking from my tranny?

I'll find a jack and take better pics today but for now let me know what you think:

I cant tell if that is engine oil or tranny oil, but my guess is either the rear main oil seal is leaking and got oil on your clutch or mainshaft bearing went bad and caused the seal to leak. Either way your gotta pull your tranny out man because you probably got oil on your clutch and something is defintley leaking

Well I just checked the oil level in my motor, that seems fine however when I started car and revved it blew white smoke but I think that may be because I haven't driven car in over a week and it wasn't warmed up.

yeah, and tranny fluid?

it would be nice if you can get some pictures from under the car showing where the oil might be dripping from.

looks to me like you got two cracks in your tranny housing. You could replace it (shouldn't cost more then $150) or try to use some epoxy on it. You could also try to get someone to weld on top of that.

EDIT: read some of your original posts. Sounds like you seized up the internalls in the tranny. Best case scenerio your bearings are fucked. no oil = bad stuff.

Let the thing drain out all the fluid out. Then, try JB weld at first. If that doesn't work...i would weld that thing.

****..i just read your whole post..i think it is time for a rebuilt .
